BRAHMA SRI K.RAVI SASTRIGAL hails from the family of DEEKSHITHARS (Vedic scholars who have performed yagna sacrifices and are performing Agni hotric rites daily throughout their life time). He was born in Tambaram in 1978 to BRAHMA SRI KUPPUSWAMY SASTRIGAL and SRIMATHI REVATHY AMMAL. His great grand father BRAHMA SRI KOTHANDARAMA DEEKSHITHAR was born in SIMIZHI near Kumbakonam.
